I have seen at least 50 of them in action and used a whole bunch in my own projects.

Here are some really incredible lightboxes (at least that’s my opinion) that make the short list and keep you from sifting through the endless slough out there.

Without further ado:

These lightboxes cover pretty much everything a client can throw at you from wanting thumbnails, to simple modal windows, portfolio usage, photo galleries, you name the possibilities are endless and a bunch them allow you to load external content via iframes and play different media types.
